How it works
Prep. Press. Wear.
The exact method we use in the studio. Ten minutes the first time, five once you've done it twice.
-
01Prep
2 minutes- Push back cuticles with the wooden stick.
- Buff the shine off each nail with the buffer — dull, not thin.
- Wipe every nail with the prep pad. Don't touch them after this.
-
02Press
5 minutes- Lay out your sizes from the tray: the nail should touch both sidewalls with no gap.
- Brush a thin layer of glue on the press-on (not your nail), sit it just above the cuticle, tilt down and press for 20 seconds.
- Work pinky to index, thumbs last. Then hands off water for one hour.
-
03Wear & remove
Up to 3 weeks- Live normally. Type, cook, swim.
- To remove: soak in warm soapy water with a drop of oil for 10 minutes, then lift gently from the sides. Never pull.
- File glue off the underside of the press-ons and keep them in the tray for the next wear.
Almost every early lift is a prep issue. Oil and shine stop glue from bonding. Buff until the nail is matte, wipe, and don't touch the nail plate again before pressing.
Tabs are for one to three days — perfect for an event or trying a new shape. Glue is for two to three weeks. Both are included in every set.
Size down. A slightly narrow nail looks natural; a wide one lifts at the edges. You can also file the sides of a press-on to shape it to your nail bed.
After removal, file any glue residue from the underside, give them a wipe, and store in the tray. Most people get two to three wears per set.
